- National Health Service Corps Grants - The National Health Service Corps has awarded a record $89.9 million in scholarships and loan repayments to primary health care professionals who work in frontier, rural and inner-city areas that lack access to adequate care.
- Workforce Development Grant Program - Through a federal grant from the Department of Health and Human Services, the Center is announcing the development of the Workforce Development Grant Program. The Center anticipates awarding approximately $500,000 statewide for a period of 12 months to address workforce needs and issues.
- National Institutes of Health (NIH) Programs - The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Loan Repayment and Scholarship has announced two programs which may be of interest to NRHA members: The NIH Undergraduate Scholarship Program (UGSP) and The NIH Extramural Loan Repayment Programs (LRP).
